Curb Health is founded on research, and proven to work
We’re backed by research
The Curb app is the result of 3 years of cutting edge development and discovery, funded by InnovateUK, the Government's research and innovation body
Our results have been published in The British Journal of Psychiatry OPEN and presented at The Royal College of Psychiatrist's International Congress and Faculty of Addiction Psychiatry Conference where we were awarded First Prize for our work on digital biomarkers.
“Developing a Digital Therapeutic to Reduce Harmful Use of Alcohol: Can Curb, a mobile application supporting healthy behaviour change, predict alcohol cravings and consumption?” British Journal of Psychiatry Open/Cambridge University Press, 01 August 2024.

Our program
We worked with world leading psychologists from The University of Oxford to design daily interactive exercises, based upon Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
This approach encourages long term changes in the way users think, feel and behave in response to drinking triggers and cues.
